Teams are divided up by grade level with incoming 3rd and 4th graders participating on two teams (combined 3rd and 4th grade teams of about 25 kids per team), and then 5th (D team), 6th (C team), 7th (B team), and 8th (A team) graders each participating on a team of their own.
